Presentation of the DP

The Democrat Party is a nationalist party led by Serdar Denktaş. It was founded by a group of deputies that left the UBP in 1992. It was the third party in the last elections and as of January 2004, it is the second party of coalition government with the CTP. Serdar Denktaş is the son of President Denktaş, who actively supported his son's party in election campaigns.

Flag of the DP

The flag of the DP includes two green olive branches on the sides of a circle. In the middle there is a green torch with red flames and letters "DP" in red.
